Spring into Play: Pickleball at Two Rivers | Two Rivers Country Club Blog

April is National Pickleball Month! At Two Rivers Country Club, we’re proud to offer members a fun, fast-growing way to stay active and connect with friends on and off the court.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, our high-quality courts are always buzzing with energy. Pickleball has quickly become one of the most popular member activities at TRCC, and it’s easy to see why. It combines the strategy of tennis, the pace of ping-pong, and the social nature of golf—all wrapped up in a game that’s easy to learn and hard to stop playing.

Members have the opportunity to enjoy casual drop-in play, friendly round robins, and more competitive matchups. Looking to improve your game or pick up the paddle for the first time? Our Pickleball and Tennis Pro, Mike Prokopik, is here to help. With years of professional experience and a passion for teaching, Mike offers private and group instruction tailored to all skill levels.

Not sure where to start? Check out our short video featuring Mike as he breaks down the basics of “dinking”—one of pickleball’s most essential (and fun) techniques.

At Two Rivers, our vibrant pickleball community is just another example of the lifestyle our members enjoy. From the courts to the clubhouse, there’s always a great reason to get together and play. We invite you to join us this season, paddle in hand and ready for fun!

Beyond the courts, spring and summer here offer even more ways to make the most of the season. From scenic waterfront strolls and outdoor dining at The Osprey Grill to kayak outings and marina access, our members enjoy the best of life on the James River. Add in bocce ball, biking trails, and golf course views, and it’s easy to see why time at Two Rivers is always time well spent.
